Calendar & Rentals
We operate the Brownwood Recreation Center, and when we don’t have EAKC youth in afterschool and summer programming, we are happy to offer our space as a rental option for events, parties, meetings, and more. To begin the reservation process, please review the facility calendar listed below, and then, once you find an open time that suits your event, submit a reservation request using the link below. A member of our staff will contact you to discuss our availability and whether we are able to host your requested event! In general, our main multipurpose space is well equipped for events with up to 50-60 people, and anything larger requires the use of several rooms throughout the facility.
All facility rentals include usage of our tables and chairs and common recreational equipment found in the multipurpose room (pop-a-shot, bluetooth compatible speakers, foosball, games, etc.). Rentals also include access to refrigerators, freezers, and restroom facilities for the duration of the rental.
When submitting a reservation request, please note that set-up and breakdown/cleanup time must be included in the request as staffing and access to the space is tied to the exact times that you request and that we are able to confirm. Brownwood Recreation Center rentals will be invoiced using the fees listed for Class 2 Facilities in the table below, and if a request falls outside of our business hours (10:00am – 6:30pm Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm Saturday), renters will also be assessed the After Hours Attendant fee for hours that fall outside of that range. Once a reservation request has been confirmed by EAKC staff, an invoice will be issued via Square under separate email cover.
*PLEASE NOTE* We are not able to rent the park or the pavilion facilities as they are managed directly by the City of Atlanta, Department of Parks & Recreation.
